Goals, Problems, and John Lennon

A goal is one half of a problem.

The other half is not having accomplished the goal.

Achieving a goal feels good temporarily. It raises our self-confidence and self-esteem temporarily.

Whether we achieve a goal or fail by giving up, we wind up with a new goal / problem.

The Essential Truth is that everything is perfect the way it is.

“I just had to let it go.”
– John Lennon in Watching the Wheels
