Creativity: Going Back to What Worked

Going Back to What Worked

Ah … the joy of creativity. We love to create new things. And on the receiving end we love to try out new things.

In my own profession, software development, programmers love to create new software instead of fixing the old stuff. At least that’s the way that I was.

And sometimes the old stuff was so hard to figure out that it was much easier to create something new.

And there’s the old phenomenon called the new broom sweeps clean.

If we find ourselves constantly starting from scratch, maybe it’s time to go back to what worked before.

This is important in organizing our lives. And it’s important in our spiritual lives.
