This very short meditation helps you let go of struggle and frustration while attaining inner peace. Inspired by Lee Glickstein’s Relational Presence principles, this recording helps you get into a state of not trying.
This simple meditation is an excellent way to start your day or take a short break. It can often relax you even if many other attempts ended in frustration.
Thank You Jim,
Just to let you know that I’m following your blog and greatly appreciate all your suggestions on meditation, tranquillity and peace.
God Bless You.
Thanks Jim,
You really have a ton of information! I wish I had more time to read. I will definitely be checking back often.
Thank you, Kelly. More info is on the way.
I clicked on the link to subscribe to your blog, but want to let you know that the link does not work……guess I’ll have to bookmark your peaceful site til you can get the link fixed.
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for letting me know, Meredith. I’ll check into that.
Jim: Yes! This is exactly what we do in the latihan, the spiritual exercise of Subud (subud.org). We simply let go…do not try. Total surrender to the Source of the universe. Ironically, we don’t even try to surrender. Just like you say, from a state of complete emptiness, empty of desires and wants, something arises on it’s own. You do it or say it or whatever, then go back to that empty place of not wanting.
Aloha, Aliman.
Thank you. I’ll explore latihan.

Hi Jim,
What a great guided meditation. LOVE IT! You’re always so great at simplifying these ideas and making them work.
Thanks again.

Be still my soul. Awesome meditation. My body began to melt INstantly…amazing as other meditations can take me quite awhile to “let go” and “be still.”
Thank you, thank you and I look forward to RSSing and partaking of more.

I like this meditation very much realizing our subconscious mind does not hear the “don’t” and responds very quickly to the suggestion in an affirmative manner.
Thank you!
this is my favorite meditation of all, so simple but it works like a charm
Thank you, Renee. I love this meditation too. It’s helped me many times.
